Although guardian angels are delivering messages 24 hours a day to you, they know you aren’t always listening. That’s why angel oracle card decks are a really easy way for them to get their messages across to you. When you pick up a deck of angel cards, shuffle it, ask your question, and select a card, the card you pick speaks to your heart in that moment and the angels know you are ready to hear the message they have to share with you.
Some people confuse angel oracle cards with tarot decks but they aren’t the same. Tarot cards are a whole life divination tool and give information about the arc of your life through archetypes. Angel cards, on the other hand, give you direct communications from your angel spirit guides. They provide messages of hope, love, and support so you can do the things you’re destined to do.
Receiving an Angel Card Reading
If you want to use angel cards to get deeper, more pointed information that’s really aligned for you, you have two best options.
First, if you have a hard time hearing angel messages for yourself or are struggling in your current world, you can find a trusted person to hire for a reading. This can be very helpful and beautiful. Seek to find someone with an open heart who is very clear and present in the now. The best way to choose an angel card reader is to listen to your own heart.
Second, learn to do your own free angel card readings. I think this is always the best method. Listen to the angels through your own heart. You have everything inside you that you need right now to do your own angel card readings. Still, it can be very helpful to have guidance from someone experienced in card reading. If you go this route, vet your mentor(s) to ensure you’re learning from those who have worked with a lot of other people and are good at delivering information without their own ego attached to it. Find someone who is more focused on you, the good of you, and your best outcome than they are focused on themselves.
Choosing Angel Cards
Having your own angel oracle card deck can allow you to receive daily guidance from your guardian angels. Any angel oracle card deck created out of love and from the heart will align you directly with your angel spirit guides. Don’t worry if a particular deck is right or better for you. Simply find a deck you resonate with. Some people select decks by rubbing their hands together and holding them over the deck to feel its energy. This lets you know if it is aligned for you and has the perfect message for you to receive in this moment. 
Preparing Your Angel Cards
There are a lot of ways to choose a card depending on your relationship with your deck. When I first get a deck, I like to hold it between my hands and feel its energy. Sometimes I even put it out in the moonlight to infuse it with the whole earth energy. Finally, I like to shuffle the cards one at a time on a new deck, touching each card so my energy becomes attached to them. Often, after that, I don’t even have to pull a card – one will pop out because of the question I’ve asked. If you spend a few minutes preparing your deck to do that, it will be ready for you. Spend a little time doing the foundation work, and it will align with you!
If you create your own beautiful angel card deck, there is nothing you need to do to get them ready! Through the creation process, you’ve listened to your guardian angels and the cards are already attuned to you.
