Spirit guides can help you move along your soul lessons more quickly, help humanity evolve, give spiritual guidance and raise your vibration. They are always here to help and LOVE you unconditionally. Connecting with your spirit guides doesn’t have to be a serious, stoic adventure, so let’s PLAY with them!
How Your Spirit Guides Show up
Your Guides take many forms:
YOU Sometimes they are YOU embodied from another time or dimension. They are another part of of your fractalized energy that has had experiences (either human or other) and want to share your wisdom with your current human form to enlighten or move forward your expansion and soul lessons.
Guardian Angels are assigned for life. You have the same angel from the moment you take your first breath here. Other angels, such as archangels, helper angels and angels with special tasks can also support you with the legions of numbers of them available to support you. I like to imagine them lined up waiting for my call!
Ascended Masters or Historical figures are people who have lived on this earth and have mastered something or become enlightened. They are here to help us through or past something they really know. Great spiritual teachers have lots of love for humanity and want to eliminate suffering.
Animal guides come into your world to give comfort, wisdom, energy and play. They are especially supportive in the quest of playing with your guides.
Dimensional Guides are from other dimensions and planets. They can also be very playful. They are safe, loving and present a new way to look at situations and questions.
Talking to Your Spirit Guides
All Spirit Guides MUST be invited in. They will never interfere with your free will. To receive connection, you open the door and they will come. All you need to do is pay attention when they arrive.
For being playful with my guides, I LOVE doing Dream Imagery Journeys and Guide Castings.
Dream Imagery Journeys start with the intention of talking to your guides. For the first journey, I always like to meet my ‘Assistant’ or ‘Higher Self’. This is the SuperConscious part of me that knows my soul’s plan, goals, lessons and journey. That part of you can always direct the traffic of guides and support your desires and needs at any time.
I like a simple meditation and plan to meet in a garden, other natural place with lots of sensory support. Smell the flowers, hear the birds or water flowing, feel the breeze, see all the beauty, and taste the treats you have brought to the party. Once in that sensory place, invite your guide to the table and have a conversation. Get to know them as you would any friend. Sometimes it helps to have questions prepared in advance!
Guide Casting
When I have a new project or big change in life, I enjoy doing a “guide casting”.
To do that, I list the archetypal support that I think I need for that project, write them all on cards,
Then I match them to the parts of my project by drawing them randomly.
After that, I enter a meditative state during which I meet each one and ask for a gift. I draw a picture of them around a ’round table’ so I have visual memory of them. I use this new ’round table of guides’ to answer questions and get guidance on that project.

Playing with Your Spirit Guides
There are hundreds of playful ways to access your spirit guides. Here are three:
Oracle Cards + Decks: Ask a question and pull a card or do a reading spread. Your guides are waiting for this fun and insightful interaction!
Bibliomancy: Ask a question and choose a book from your shelf, randomly open and point to a sentence. That is your answer!
Sidewalk Oracles: These are the things you see and happen that have you know that your guides are near. When I see something unusual, I look for the meaning!
