“I Don’t Hear anything when I ask for input from my Soul’s Guidance or Intuition. I had this question on the game last week, and it turns out to be a pretty common one.
Here is the question I got from one of the Beta Testers of the Angels Peacocks & Butterflies: 100 Days of Miracles Game: Hi Jean! My game came yesterday. WOO HOO! When I drew cards and asked for my message, I had a hard time accessing anything. Any suggestions? Thanks!
This is truly the most common challenge that shows up with the game and with most intuition – creating practices. Here are some thoughts on that.
First, don’t worry….there is nothing wrong with you
and, yes, everyone can access their Intuition or Soul’s Guidance, it just takes some practice and often looks different than everyone else’s. There are many ways to hear guidance, and we are working on developing the one that is specific and clear.
One way to get out of your head is to plant your feet on the ground, and take 3 deep breaths, where you hold the breath at the inhale for 3 seconds and at the exhale for 3 seconds. After you do this, ask the question again. Often, the answer will come.
Also, If you have a meditation practice, you can go into theta for a few minutes or if you have a yoga practice, hold a pose. I can help you find the thing that will distract your mind so you can hear an answer.
One fool-proof way to hear guidance
is to channel it through a creative process….that’s one of the reasons I created the game. The act of drawing cards and writing your answers takes you out of your head. If you draw or doodle on the page, that can be your answer and you all you need to do is interpret it.
Often, an answer did show up,
but it was ignored it or discounted
because it didn’t make sense to the brain, or it is a picture or metaphor. Your job is to write down (or draw) whatever was shown or told to you (even if it didn’t make sense). The message (in language) is sometimes delayed and it makes perfect sense later in the day or when you speak it out loud to someone else. It can be helpful then to use a facebook group of like-minded people to help you figure it out.
Lastly, some people get their
Soul’s Guidance & Intuition primarily through their bodies,
and they feel the answer physically (goose bumps, warm feeling around their hearts, etc.) If this is you, write down that feeling, and then we can start working to interpret what that means for you into action, and honing your ability to hear specifics.
